About
why I do what i do
Born in a small town in Switzerland I knew from an early age that I would like to see more of the world.
Becoming a flight attendant, traveling to lots of beautiful places and meeting so many people from different nationalities geared me ideally up for my life in the modeling world.
In 2019 I started my modeling career in Dubai. I am very proud to have worked for renowned
brands such as Huda Beauty, Emirates Palace, La Marquise Jewellery, Ekadot Boutique, Moniritta Design, Gulf Air, Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt.
In summer 2022 I have been selected to join the famous Coco Rocha Model Camp in New York and it was an experience of a lifetime! Models of all age groups and origin attended to learn the secrets of modeling by Coco Rocha herself. This experience was something I did to expand my knowledge in modeling, but also to go out of my comfort zone, gain more confidence and become a better version of myself.
Now, as part of the Rwanda Modeling Academy, I am excited to apply what I've learned to train and inspire new talent. At the Academy, we aim to equip our models with the skills and confidence to thrive on the runway. I am fortunate to collaborate with my colleague Trevor, as we guide aspiring models to reach their potential and achieve their dreams. Together, we are proud to be part of the Rwanda Fashion Models Union, where we help shape the future of modeling in Rwanda.
In fashion, models are the face behind the brand. The women who walk the runway have the power to inspire editors, buyers, and fashion lovers to covet a particular piece. But my goal is to achieve way more than that.
I'd like to challenge agencies and their beauty and age standards to show women my age that everything is possible. I'd like to create an unfiltered image of myself to prove, it does not always have to be overly edited for an aesthetic look.
You can become a fashion model at 50+, you can start from scratch and build a whole new career. It's not always going to be easy, but you can absolutely do it!
Every woman is unique and beautiful and hey, in the twenty-first century, age is really just a number!
